Pacific Sotheby’s Realty Agent Wendy Moldow Participates in Business Panel Assisting Military Veterans
As an industry professional with more than 30 years of experience, Pacific Sotheby’s Realty agent Wendy Moldow is always looking for a way to give back to her community. Recently Moldow participated as a volunteer panel member for the Veterans Sustainable Agriculture Training (VSAT) program. The VSAT program was developed by Colin & Karen Archipley of Archie’s Acres in partnership with CalPoly as a way to teach agribusiness to returning Military Veterans. As a panel member, Moldow reviewed business plans and gave marketing suggestions to Military Veterans graduating from the program.
“It was truly an honor to be invited to be part of the panel and provide guidance to help these Veterans start new businesses in civilian life,” says Moldow.
Moldow was asked to be part of the panel because of her work helping returning Military and Veterans achieve their dreams of homeownership. After listening to Veterans concerns about the difficulties they face with the adjustment back into civilian life, Moldow realized she could use her real estate background to help bring Veterans together and facilitate ways for them to move into home ownership through shared housing programs.
In response to this need, Moldow created OneRoofLiving.com a website specializing in locating multi-generational and unique shared living properties in San Diego. Additionally, she assembled a team of dynamic real estate professionals at Pacific Sotheby’s Realty who are dedicated to finding properties to fit the needs of Veterans, generational families, and anyone else looking for the security of home-ownership with the affordability of sharing the costs.
