Rand comes to Pacific Sotheby’s Realty's Mission Hills office as a seasoned REALTOR® and California property investor. He brings with him over 20 years of sales experience, both as a licensed general contractor and residential real estate developer. Growing up in Southern California, he didn’t go far for college and earned his BA in Economics and Business Management while attending UC Irvine. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, he started his own construction & development business in 1991, where he worked until 2000 when he sold the business to his long time friend and business partner. Rand moved to Mission Hills from Long Beach, CA in 2002 where he purchased his home and now lives with his foster sons and 3 year old American Bull Terrier, Chester. Previously he operated a boutique real estate office in the San Diego community of Ocean Beach, and has been a Member of the San Diego Association of Realtors since 2002.
“I love San Diego, it’s the reason I moved here over 10 years ago and I plan to stay indefinitely. In my opinion, you can’t find a better place to live or work anywhere in the world,” says Rand who has also done a fair amount of traveling. “I enjoy exploring new places and always look at real estate opportunities wherever I go, however, I’ve yet to find a place I’d rather live than right here in San Diego.”
Other interests include Architecture & Design, Contemporary Art, Classic Cars, Cycling, Sailing and Snow Boarding with friends and family.
Rand also serves as President of the Sedona Home Owners Association in Las Vegas, NV.
